We Are the Church of God Sharing Village (COGSV)!
Every church has a story. Ours is a story of faith, conviction, and God's quiet hand at work through ordinary people seeking to follow the pattern of the New Testament Church.
The Church of God Sharing Village did not begin as a grand institution or a carefully planned organization. It grew organically from a desire to worship God according to the Scriptures, to restore authentic Christian fellowship, and to build a community where believers genuinely share their lives, their faith, and their hope in the coming Kingdom of God.
Many have asked, "How did the Sharing Village begin?" This page tells that story. It traces the historical roots that led to its formation, the biblical convictions that shaped its identity, and the journey of the brethren who sought to remain faithful to the teachings once delivered to the saints.
More than a history, this is the story of a growing family of believers. It explains what makes the Church of God Sharing Village a distinctive organic church in the Philippines—one that values servant leadership over hierarchy, biblical truth over human tradition, genuine fellowship over formality, and the life-changing message of the Kingdom of God above all else.

What We Believe ...
We recognize the Holy Scriptures to be infallible in the original writings, complete in its Old Testament and New Testament, as the basic rule of faith and practice. Doing the will of the Father and living in obedience to the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ is the true test of discipleship, doctrine and fellowship. The following article though not intended to be a comprehensive statement of beliefs, represent our confession of faith:
We believe in one God, the Father, who is the Eternal, without beginning and without end. (Genesis 1:1;Deut. 6:4-5; John 4:8; John 10:30; John 17:11;Corinthians 8:6)
We believe in Jesus Christ who was the Word made flesh, He is the only begotten of the Father, conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of virgin Mary (Myriam), and through His sinless life and atoning sacrifice, provides the only salvation for man. (John 1:1-2; Isaiah 9:61; Matthew 1:23; Timothy 3:16; Titus 2:13)
We believe that the Holy Spirit, which the mind of God, is the power and gift given through Jesus Christ. Through the Holy Spirit, God convicts man, and leads him back to God. (Acts 1:8; 2:38; Romans 8:9,14; Romans 11:341 Corinthians 2:11,16; Ephesians 1:13-14)
We believe in God’s eternal law, which is spiritual, holy, just and good, as embodied in the law of love as revealed and amplified by Jesus Christ: the Ten Commandments. (Exo. 20:1-17; Deut. 5:1-22; 6:1-9; Deut. 6:24-25; Matthew 5:1-48; Matthew 19:17; Eccl. 12:13; Romans 7:12; 1 John 5:3)
We also believe that the law includes the command to remember the seventh-day Sabbath, enjoin the observance of the ‘feasts of the LORD’, food laws, etc., for it to be written in the hearts and minds of God’s spirit-begotten children. (Gen 2:1-3; Exo 20:8-10;Isa 58:12-14; Mark 2:27-28; Luke 4:16; John 15:10; Heb. 4:4; Leviticus 23:1-44; Lev. 11:1-47; Deut. 14:3-21: Leviticus 23; Zechariah 14:16; John 7;8-10; Acts 2:1; 12:3; 20:6, 16; 27:9; 1 Corinthians 5:8; 16:8)
We believe that Jesus Christ will return to earth to rule all nations as King of kings and to establish the eternal Kingdom of God. We believe that the ultimate purpose of men and women, accomplished at their resurrection to immortal life, is to reign forever with Christ as sons and daughters of God born (as spirit beings) into the Kingdom and family of God. We believe in giving and that Christian life is meant to be shared doing the will of the Father in the service of His Son, the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! (Matthew 24:14; 28:19-20; Luke 24:47-48; John 12:26; Acts 28:31)
